The Stepfamily Intensive is a variation of Building Stepfamilies That Work that has been modified to fit the schedule and particular concerns of one couple currently involved in, or anticipating entering into a stepfamily. Course focus: Difficulties characteristic of the stepfamily, and practical methods to resolve or minimize them. Duration: Eight, 2.0 hour sessions that can be arranged to fit virtually any schedule. When HE Has Kids ...and You Don't is a course for women who have never had children of their own and are currently involved in, or anticipating entering into a relationship with a partner who already has a child (or children) from a previous relationship. Course focus: Understanding and addressing the many and complex demands of "instant (step)motherhood". Enrollment: Maximum of 8 participants. Duration: 8 weeks, one 2.0 hour session each week.
